SoupGrant Lansing is looking for presenters for a special event at the Everybody Eats Conference! This annual event aims to spark conversation about equity, ethics, and sustainability in Lansing’s food systems. On Saturday, March 19th, conference participants will gather at St. Casimir’s School in Lansing to share their efforts in making healthy, fresh, and sustainable food sources accessible to all members of our community. The SoupGrant team is thrilled for this opportunity to engage with our community members and make a positive impact. We are seeking four food-related initiatives to present at the conference. One of these presenters will receive a microgrant to make their project a reality! If you have a proposal that you would like to present at the conference, please fill out our grant application here. The submission deadline is March 10th.
Just like SoupGrant events, anyone is invited to attend. General admission is $20, or $25 at the door. To register and learn more about the conference, go to every-body-eats.weebly.com. We look forward to hearing your ideas and spreading the word about food democracy!
