Want to help transform the Lansing community with a single bowl of soup?
Every month we invite two different groups to share what they are doing in and around Lansing. Our presenters this month are the Olivia Kay Foundation and the Summer Technology Camp!
About our presenters
Olivia Kay Foundation is a non-profit that aims to improve the quality of life for children with severe multiple impairments. Next week, they are hoping to win the SoupGrant to make more pillows for children who are ill to make them more comfortable at the hospital or home.
Summer Technology Camp provides a 4-day camp for Latino and indigenous middle school girls in the Lansing area to learn about technology. They are hoping to win SoupGrant to purchase refurbished iPod touches for the girls to use during the camp to learn coding, information literacy, and experiment with art/music apps.

$5 at the door gives you a vote for the project of your choice. At the end of the night, the project with the most votes takes home the money as a SoupGrant!
You don’t just get a vote, we also feed you! Prepare yourself for an array of delicious, homemade soups that our soup chef, Terry, has in store for you! (Did we mention the soup is FREE?) There are always vegetarian and vegan options available, too.
Our next SoupGrant is on April 20 (the 3rd Thursday of the month). Bring a bowl and spoon for soup – and a friend or two!
