On January 17 we have two great presenters: Crabbe Law Services and South Lansing Ministries. Each presenter will talk about their project. $5 at the door gives you a vote for the project of your choice. At the end of the night, the project with the most votes takes home the money as a SoupGrant!
You don’t just get a vote! We will provide a FREE meal of an array of delicious, homemade soups, salad, and bread! There are always vegan and vegetarian options available, too.
Attendees should bring a bowl and spoon for soup and a friend or two!
About the Presenters
Crabbe Law Services is a non-profit law firm that provides legal services to clients whose household income is between 125% and 300% of the Federal Poverty Level at a reduced cost.
South Lansing Ministries (SLM) is a branch of the Greater Lansing Food Bank. We serve over 300 individuals per month. We also host a personal needs closet where people in need can grab items like toilet paper, toothpaste, and deodorant, as well as a computer bank that people can use to apply for benefits or search for employment.
